Welcome to Lifebuilder!
Many of us in South Africa don’t see the glass as half full or half empty, we just see it as completely empty!
On the 10th anniversary of our democracy in South Africa, let us reflect on the tremendous achievements of the past ten years. According to Time magazine, literacy has increased by 10%, 15% more people have housing and water delivery has increased by 25%. In 1994, less than 50% of our people had electricity; today it’s over 80%.
BUILD YOUR LIFE
Celebrate Your Success
- What about your life has improved
over the past ten years?
- What can you do to build a country that offers a better life for all?
(Taking the time to vote on April the 14th would be a good start!)

But more significant than all of these statistics, across this country there are little black, brown and white boys and girls learning and playing together like brothers and sisters. We have found a way to live together when we could easily have gone to war, as has happened in so many other countries. We still have a long way to go to build a society that offers a decent life for all, but
when we celebrate our achievements, we are re-energised with the creativity and passion that we need to drive towards our
destiny. |
