A
Tale of Two Sisters (Part 2)
In the last edition of Lifebuilder,
we featured the fictitious story of two middle-aged sisters in their 40's have very different lives.
To refresh your memory, the
one, Mrs. A. Bundance, is a best-selling author making several
million dollars per year from her books and public appearances. She
lives in a beautiful house in Cape Town overlooking Clifton beach, has a
very successful businessman and philanthropist for a husband whom she
adores and who adores her and two happy children. She is extremely happy
and content with her life as it is, yet excited about the next book she
is working on and the world tour she will do to promote it in the second
half of the year. The other sister, Miss. P. Overty, is in a drug
rehabilitation centre for the third time trying to overcome a severe
addiction to heroin that she has had for over 10 years. Her sister pays
for her to stay there (and in fact, financially supports the whole
centre), as she is penniless, having spent the wealth she once had on
her drug habit, yet she resents her sister and almost everyone else she
knows (except her dealer) deeply, blaming them for all her

We then suggested you list all of the principles of manifestation you
could see illustrated in the story. See how you did by reading the
paragraphs below, in which the key principles are discussed and
highlighted in bold:
Love is the most fundamental of all the principles of
manifestation and encompasses all the others. True love is feeling
connected to and part of everything and everyone, so you naturally feel
grateful for the abundance of life and the fact that there is
more than enough for you and everyone else in the world to experience
and enjoy. When you live in this state of awareness or
consciousness of the truth, you feel like giving to and sharing
with others as much as possible without thought of being repaid
because you understand that they are a part of you as you are a part of
them and you can only ever give to yourself. Giving and receiving are
really just opposite flows of the same energy, so giving selflessly in a
spirit of true love and gratitude opens you up to the flow
of universal energy that manifests in a number of ways - inner peace,
health, material wealth, good relationships and any other positive state
or condition you wish to attract into your life.
The way to manifest anything in one's life is to picture and feel
oneself living in this state or condition while knowing with certainty
that it is already in one's hand just waiting to be revealed (hence the
word 'manifest', which comes from the Latin word 'manus', meaning
'hand'). This may take some time, which is the test of patience and
perseverance we came to experience in this physical, time-bound
universe. Being grateful for and enjoying every moment of the process
of manifesting what you want while simultaneously being excited
about the future life you are in the process of creating without
letting this future vision cloud your enjoyment of the moment-by-moment
experience of creating it is the formula for sustained enthusiasm,
which inevitably leads to successful manifestation of what you intended
to create.
This happens without fear of not living that life you have
imagined or stress at the process you must go through to make it
a reality because your inner peace and enjoyment of life are not
dependent on whether you achieve anything. You are detached from
the outcome even though you are enthusiastic about pursuing it. This
enthusiasm allows you to joyfully persist through the inevitable
obstacles and stumbling blocks that everyone experiences on the journey
towards any worthwhile goal while appreciating that the growth one
experiences in overcoming these obstacles is the real reason for these
obstacles crossing your path and for your choosing to walk the path in
the first place.
If you think in a linear way and are only focussed on achieving the goal
because of the imagined happiness it will bring you in the future
without enjoying and honouring the journey to get there, this state of
awareness seems impossible, but people who have created lives of
balanced success have mastered the art of comfortably living with and
in seemingly paradoxical opposites. They think non-linearly with
their whole brains instead of with only one hemisphere, so they see
that the apparently contradictory opposites most people who
struggle to manifest what they want perceive in life are in fact illusory
because ultimately everything is one energy and we are all
part of that energy. This brings us full circle, back to the
principle of love we started with, which is the cornerstone of
a successful life and every positive manifestation that is part of that
life.
Mrs. A. Bundance (who changed her name from Jane Overty to Amanda and
got married, in case you are wondering about her name change!) lived by
these principles all her life and manifested an amazingly abundant and
successful life for herself, despite the fact that she did not seem as a
young girl to have any special quality indicating she would one day have
that life. On the other hand, her sister Pretty lived in a way that cut
her off from the high vibrational energy of the universe and attracted
to her the energy and therefore the physical reality that corresponded
with her own internal fearful and negative state, but we don't have
space to go into the principles she lived her life by and the results
this manifested in her life in this edition. Watch your inbox in two
