QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"Life is a journey, not a destination … the fun is in getting there."

– Ursula Le Guin

Hi, welcome to Lifebuilder!

In striving for our goals, we sometimes feel dissatisfied about what we have, while we idealise what we don’t have. We imagine that life will be complete and we’ll be happy only when we achieve our goal. When we do get what we want, we are sometimes surprised to find that the dissatisfaction doesn’t go away. Somehow, no matter what we achieve, it never seems good enough. The grass always seems greener up ahead. But as my friend Steve likes to say, ‘He who thinks the grass is greener on the other side will be forlorn.’

Life is a journey where the joy is not only in driving and arriving, but also in drinking in the magnificent sights, sounds and smells along the way. As you journey through life, realise that you are valuable not because of what you do, but simply because you are. Each one of us is a universe of unimaginable value. That value isn’t something that we ever achieve - it’s a given.

Through Lifebuilder, we’ll continue to support you as you drive towards your destiny. Just remember that each step of your journey is your destiny.

Until next week - Create Your Self!
