The brain makes 20 million billion calculations per second. Its capacity to create is nearly infinite. Much that it produces may be unworkable, but like getting gold out of a mine, you may need to sift through a lot of rock and waste first. Don’t expect gold on every dig, but if you don’t dig, you won’t get anything. 

A great way to ‘dig’ is to write. If you hit a creative block, let your fingers find the solution. Writing slows down and channels our thinking, opening up the deep recesses of our brains.
